The Tropical beach resort is centrally located on the white sands of the Cabarete bay. The bay is protected by coral reef and the white sands stretch for many unbroken kilometres down the coast. The palm trees sway in the gentle winds that blow off the warm waters and windsurfers and sailors delight in the trade winds which power them through the water.

This is an intimate hotel which has just 46 rooms. All rooms have either a garden or an ocean view, have their own air conditioning, cable television, mini fridge, telephone, ceiling fan, a bathroom with shower, a balcony and twin or double beds.
Tropical Beach Resort Facilities and Services
The hotel has a gift shop and boutique for you to pick up souvenirs for family and friends. There are several daily shuttle buses offering services to Cabarete town and Sosua. Car, bike and motorbike rental can be arranged as well as excursions from the hotel. Reception provides currency conversion and there is 24 hour medical assistance available.
Tropical Beach Resort Dining and Bar
Serving food on an all inclusive basis are the restaurants of El Arrecife and Pane Y Olio both of which offer buffet style dining. In El Arrecife you will find international food while Pane Y Olio serves Italian classics. Dinner is also available on an a la carte basis at the Mexican Viva Zapata. There is one beach bar and a main bar which are open between 10 in the morning and 11 at night.
Tropical Beach Sports and Activities
There are 2 swimming pools at the hotel where you will be able to get a free diving lesson and if you head down onto the beach you can have a free go at windsurfing. There is a beach volleyball court where you can have a few games before for a horse ride along the beach. For those wanting to learn some lingo there are Spanish lessons available in the hotel. There is also the opportunity to become a qualified diver with internationally recognised PADI qualifications.
